Catering in Surrey, BC — Every Town Centre

Surrey is six town centres under one name. Tell us which one and we will tell you what is practical — delivered, buffet or plated.

Surrey is not one place. The city is organised around six town centres — City Centre in Whalley, Guildford, Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale and South Surrey — and the drive from our White Rock kitchen to each of them is a genuinely different job. Cloverdale and Newton are a straightforward run up Highway 15 or King George Boulevard. Guildford and City Centre are the far end of the city, near the Fraser. Treating “Surrey” as a single delivery zone is how caterers end up late.

So the single most useful thing you can put on an enquiry is not “Surrey” — it is which part of Surrey.

Where we are coming from

We have one kitchen, at 1531 Johnston Rd in White Rock, and everything is cooked there on the morning of your event. Surrey surrounds White Rock on three sides, so the near half of the city is among the easiest work we do. The north end, up by the Pattullo and the Port Mann, is a real drive — not a problem, but something we plan the morning around rather than discover on the day.

Routes we actually use: King George Boulevard and Highway 99 for the west side and City Centre, Highway 10 and Highway 15 east towards Cloverdale, and Fraser Highway for Fleetwood and the Langley line.

Which format fits

All three run across the whole city. The distance changes the argument, not the availability:

  • Boxed delivery is the most forgiving over distance — individually packed, labelled meals that hold and clear fast. For a Guildford or City Centre office lunch, this is usually the sensible answer.
  • Buffet works anywhere in Surrey, with our team arriving ahead of your guests to build and dress the stations, serve, replenish and clear.
  • Plated is best where we can get the courses to the table quickly, which in practice means the south and central parts of the city, or a venue with somewhere for us to work on site.

What Surrey asks us for

It is the broadest mix in the service area, because the city is. Office lunches for teams of ten to three hundred, labelled by dietary need. School and campus events — staff days, graduations — with allergy-aware labelling and nut-free options as standard. Sports teams and clubs, portioned per athlete and delivered to the field or the clubhouse. And a steady run of family gatherings cooked for rooms with very mixed diets.

Cloverdale in particular throws up hall and fairground events where there is no kitchen at all at your end. Tell us that early. It changes what we bring, not whether we come.

The food

Every menu on the catering menus page is a starting point: we extend it, swap dishes, or build something new around your guests, and it does not have to be the same cuisine twice. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, keto and low-carb options run through all of it, everything is labelled, and we cook around allergies you tell us about when you book. Sauces and proteins are made in our kitchen with no preservatives, and produce comes from local BC farms first, in season.

Getting a number

Pricing is per guest, set by the menu and the level of service, laid out line by line in your quote before anything is committed. Staffed buffet and plated dates fill, so book those as early as you can; delivery needs much less notice.

Send the date, the guest count and the part of Surrey and you will hear from a real person within one working day. Or call +1 (778) 957-7213. More on lead times, tastings and packaging in questions answered, and the rest of the region on the catering areas page.
