One bill, one dollar
For every bill we generate, a dollar goes to local welfare groups and charities.
Every single bill contributes. Not a percentage of profit, not a seasonal campaign — one dollar from every bill we generate, going to welfare groups and charities in the communities our kitchens sit in. It is deliberately simple, because a promise you have to explain is a promise that quietly lapses. Giving is a privilege, not a duty.

BC farmers first
We source from local British Columbia farmers to keep economic growth in the communities we cook in.
Our ingredients come from local British Columbia farmers wherever the season allows. Buying locally keeps money and opportunity inside the province, shortens the distance between the field and the bowl, and means the produce reaches you while it is still worth eating. Inclusive economic growth starts with who you buy from.

Nothing good goes to waste
Surplus meals are sold through Too Good To Go instead of thrown away, and our packaging composts.
Good food should be eaten, not binned. We list our end-of-day surplus on Too Good To Go, so meals that would otherwise be thrown out reach people at a fraction of the price. What we do send out the door is packed in compostable bowls and cutlery, with recycled-plastic cups — and ceramic serviceware at staffed catering events.

Nobody should sleep hungry
Free meals for people in need, and support for the staff and delivery drivers who keep the city fed.
Making sure Canada eats. We serve free meals to people who need them, no questions and no queue of paperwork, and we look after the staff and delivery drivers who keep this city fed through weather nobody else is out in. If you are hungry, come in.
The everyday version
Commitments are easy to write. These are the habits behind them.
Cooked the same day
Cooking to the day rather than to the freezer is how you avoid throwing food away in the first place.
Compostable by default
Bowls, cutlery and cups are compostable or recycled — and staffed catering runs on ceramic.
Everyone gets fed
Vegan, gluten-free, keto and low-carb are on the menu as standard, not as an awkward request.
Eating with us is the easy part
Every bowl and every catered table adds a dollar to a local charity. If you run a charity, a farm or a community kitchen and want to work together, tell us.
